this is a somewhat standard topic in music forums: make your own band.

there's no limit for members, and it can be living or dead members. and you can make as many bands as you want.

for example:

vocals: jón þor birgisson (sigur rós) and liz frasier (cocteau twins)
bass: peter hook (new order)
lead guitar: david gilmour (pink floyd)
base guitar: jimi hendrix
drums: keith moon (the who)
synth/keyboards: brian eno
horns: miles davis
piano: erroll garner
songwriting: stuart braitwaithe (mogwai) and david byrne (talking heads)

vocals: freddie mercury (queen)
bass: john entwhistle (the who)
lead guitar: george harrison (beatles)
base guitar: eric clapton
drums: john bonham (led zeppelin)
piano: paul mccartney (beatles)
melotron: john lennon (beatles)
songwriting: ian anderson (jethro tull) and thom yorke (radiohead)

keyboard - Richard Wright (pink floyd)
bass - myung (dream theater again)
vocals - Chris Cornell (audioslave / Soundgarden. questionable i know, but he seems to be the type that can adapt well to other musicians)
