I think I saw something about this on the news today.

they said you could get the album and "pay whatever price you want" including free.

but i couldn't name a song by them if the resurrection of Malcolm X depended on it.

I decided not pre-order this. Then I got a copy, liked it but can no longer choose how much to pay for it. :(

I went to buy it a few weeks ago and found out that they'd stopped selling it on the site just a few hours earlier. I was a bit miffed.
