Score

From those killer tunes that you heard 6 years ago in the back of a mini bus, heading into Utah, or the songs that are on the radio now. This is the place. (No R&B please, because it doesn't exist)

So I was at the Virgin Records store in NYC, and something caught my eye I hadn't seen before. A new Dream Theater CD. *Gasp.* A new Dream Theater CD? Why, whatever could this be?

Apparently, they recorded a concert similar to Metallica's S&M concert. Basically Dream Theater hired an orchestra to play with them. I believe it's the same orchestra featured in Octavarium. I'm basing this on the fact that they are both referred to as the "Octavarium Orchestra." Anyways, it's a very cool sound. While the first CD is just a regular live show, the second two feature the orchestra playing along with the entirety of Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence, Vacant, The Answer Lies Within, Sacrificed Sons, Octavarium, and then the big one, METROPOLIS PART I.

Am I the last DT fan to know about this?!
