Battlestar Galatica (2004)
I miss this show to much, I'm going to watch it from the start over again in a few days, even though it'll be dull ache in my heart that there is no more.
If you don't like this series you don't deserve an opinion and with your kind of attitude the Nazi's would have won, thanks for nothing.

BSG always makes me wish that Wing Commander movie didn't absolutely suck ass.
Kilrathi would be awesome onscreen today.

Re: Battlestar Galatica (2004)
Just watched the Miniseries, that became the pilot.
It holds up well, I know it was only 8 years ago but you'd be surprised how shitty some special effects look with the passing of time and the technological leaps. Space: Above and Beyond was one of my favourite shows as a young man, admittedly that was 18 years ago but it looks horrid now, also large sections of it make no sense because it's a very obvious Japanese-American War allegory. There is a series of massive battles over and 'airfield' not the planet, just the air field.
Considering they live on a Battleship/aircraft carrier capable of traversing the stars this is a little retarded.
Anywhey-protein, I digress.
This is still instantly compelling as a story, can't wait for more even though I remember most of what happens.

Two seasons in now, up to episode 13/20.
I fucking love this show, it's still good.

Shamefully, I never watched it, I will when I finish the series again, hard drive died so it slowed me down.
Re: Battlestar Galatica (2004)
Caprica apparently wasn't meant to be a prelude to BSG originally. I think that had it been a standalone sci-fi series it would of lasted longer than a season. It's very hard to tell a story that fits in with years worth of prior story telling and still remaining fresh.
I liked most of it until it was cancelled over here. I want to get around to watching it again when I get time.
