That was only cuz you said "If that was Windows, it'd still be booting up." :P

There actually is a bit after the credits that we didn't see. Some kind of Avengers crossover? Also, the guy referred to as Hugh (Heffner) is actually the creator of Iron Man, Stan Lee.

bit at the end?

I read that their might be some connection to the new hulk film.
they were both filming at the same times.

it actually releases next month.

as for the avengers, last i heard they wernt even sure who the cast for the it was.
and it was supposed to be coming after the Cap and Thor movies.

but hulk, ironman, cap and thor are all classic avengers too. so who knows.

The Scene at the end of the credits,
Tony walks into his living room, it's night, a siholuetted figure by the windows.

'Who's there?'

The figure moves into the light, it's sam jackson with an eye patch.

'Hello, Mr Stark. My name is Nick Fury. I'm here to speak to you about the Avenger Program'

that's roughly the wording and actions.

There's also so mention of "You think your the only superhero out there? The universe just opened up for you....." or something like that...
and a mentioning of the Avenger Initative as well.

I thought that Fury was meant to be a white guy....he's white in the Marvel ultimate alliance game......i'm fairly sure...

he's both.

and in the game as well

see theirs the regular marvel universe. which is the original stuff
people usually call it the 616 universe. (though marvel doesn't like it)

and then theirs the Ultimate Marvel universe. which is sort of like a new and updated take on the 616 stuff. some good changes, and some bad changes. but overall its a fairly nice universe.

their are some Ulitmate universe titles I actually preffer to the 616 titles.

anyway...

616 Nick Fury = white guy

Ultimate Nick fury = Samuel Jackson.
they actually got permission to pattern the character after him long before they were even thinking about the movies. the best part of it is he will actually play the film versions too. win win.

in Ultimate Alliance...
which really has nothing to do with the Ultimate universe at all... 2 of the unlock able Nick Fury skins are Ultimate Nick Fury.

and in the two Avengers animated flims which run as a kind of mixture of both 616 and ultimate. they chose to go with Ultimate Nick Fury.

Image

I like them both equally.
616 Fury just as a lot of history.

and Ultimate Fury Abso-fuckin-lutley runs the whole damn show in the Ultimate universe.

Spider-man is his bitch.

shit....the X-men are his bitches.

everybody is Fury's bitch.

I see I see... Toshi and I haven't gotten very far in Ultimate Marvel Alliance.

Cool cool, I just wasn't sure he was cannon or not. Your way is MUCH better than the one i read online somewhere...

Where they where blabbing about how KingPin in the Daredevil movie wasn't played by a caucasian when he was meant to be and it's a simaler sort of thing they did and that it's not unheard of. I dont' think that person knew his shit at ALL.

I mean..looking now...it's on wikipedia. silly me.

Yes.... Fury owns us all.

Oh btw...Yes Robert Downey Jr has a cameo appearance as Tony Stark in the new hulk movie.

I guess when they redesigned Nick Fury they had to have the movies in mind. They don't want another Hasselhoff, hehe.

Should be seeing Iron Man at the end of the day.

Yeah, I remember sitting in the cinema watching Daredevil and thinking wasn't Kingpin a really fat bald white guy in the spiderman cartoons, wasn't a huge deal. I mean, after all, I think Colin Farrel had just tried to kill the hero with chunks of stained glass window.

I don't think it's a big deal in most cases but if Thor was played by an Asian or something that would not work. As long as it doesn't affect how the character is protrayed too much it doesn't bother me.

Just back from it. Thoroughly enjoyed it. I waited for the scene at the end and it was definately worth waiting for. I've only been reading short parts of this thread so it didn't ruin anything for me. It's nice being able to watch something like that with no idea about it apart from the limited knowledge from the cartoons.

Yeah, I like knowing a bit but not everything, it's why I haven't watched or read anything on the Dark Knight since november. Seriously by the time you watch the 74 trailers you've seen the movie.
