Honestly, I've never found the bonus stuff you get in most special edition stuff to be worth much.

unless its like new content. somthing like bonus extended scenes, or alternate endings.
other than that ive never been interested.

hats and t-shirts?

i can have me choice of thousands at the mall.

action figures?
cool...but they hardly cost all that much, and when youre past the age of playing with them (I just barely am) theyre just ornaments for decoration on desks or book cases.
rather buy one of those myself, when it comes to action figures, somtimes the people who paint those are on craxk....I'd like to inspect that before i buy it.

special seriel numbers?
and the point of that is?

however I do tend to like art books
but you can even get those seperate too.

bundles suck.

I posted this on my LJ, then Chewi said you guys had said the same thing as me, so I remembered this place existed and came to post this here as well.

(X-post)

So I just watched Advent Children (and before anyone goes nazi on me for watching pirated stuff, yes, I'll most definitely buy it once the DVD gets here). I went in with pretty much with no expectations, and what'd I get?

WAIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII ^__^

I was thinking that maybe this is good, maybe this is bad. I wasn't expecting to find the single-handedly best action movie I can *ever* remember seeing. Right now I'm so excited, I'm jumping around my room in glee, it was that good. And ten minutes after watching it I called a friend of mine to ask if he wanted to come watch it with me, because I wanna see the thing again. It was (and excuse me the swearing) goddamnmotherhumpin' awesome. I want to have Advent Children's babies, it was that great.

Really, I can't really find the words to describe how awesome it was. I thought Episode III was good, but that was nothing compared to this. I didn't always follow the plot completely, but could've been just because I was lost swooning about how cool the movie was. I could probably admit that there was a lot of fanboy factor and you probably won't find it as good if you haven't played the original game, but that's aside the point. The point was that the movie was as frickin' cool as there is. I'd lost faith in Square-Enix before, but now they're my god. I'm a complete Advent Children-tard. Woohoo.

Oh, and Tifa was hot.

I need to watch the movie again. But not before I spend a while jumping around my room in gleeful joy. WAII.

Somhow I knew EM would post somthing like that.
however "it sucked" wasnt quite as elegant as i expected it to be.

then again if you stated all your reasons it'd be spoiling it for the honest people.
