(This will contain spoiler information, lol)
13th Warrior, Buliwyf's last stand.

The 1st Warrior, Buliwyf, has been fatality posioned some time before in the movie and is slowly dying. He comes out of his hut, looking like shit he can barely lift his mighty sword, he trails it along the ground. The Wendol army is massing, ready to ride them down.

(Cue Track: Vahalla Viking Victory)

Buliwyf: 'Lo, there do I see my father. 'Lo, there do I see...
Herger the Joyous: My mother, and my sisters, and my brothers.
Buliwyf: 'Lo, there do I see...
Herger the Joyous: The line of my people...
Edgtho the Silent: Back to the beginning.
Weath the Musician: 'Lo, they do call to me.
Ahmed Ibn Fahdlan: They bid me take my place among them.
Buliwyf: In the halls of Valhalla...
Ahmed Ibn Fahdlan: Where the brave...
Herger the Joyous: May live...
Ahmed Ibn Fahdlan: ...forever.

(enter the Wendol)

There is blood and guts everywhere, In the middle of all the carnage it's Wendol King on Horseback vs. Buliwyf, he raises his mighty sword and KAPOW he owns the shit out of the Wendol King. The Wendol run in fear, Buliwyf stabs his sword into the ground, takes a seat on a nearby barrcade and watches their retreat .... dies.
fucking awesome.
This film made me cry. Antonio Badres isn't even arabic. Would've been better the lead role had've been arabic

I'm pretty sure if you going to be picky of the nationality of an actor I can pwn you on it from now until tommorow.

There are literally thousands of actors that have played roles that aren't their birth nationality, It's not even a true story it's fantasy, it's Michael Critchon's take on the Beowulf tale.

Buliwyf - Beowulf
Wendol - Grendel

The Rock played the Scorpion King, the movie would have been soo much better if they'd got a egyptian to play the role, no ... no it wouldn't.

The whole point of acting is playing a character that you aren't. Which can include nationality.

I was watching The World Is Not Enough with my American Ukrainian ex and her parents. They were trying to work out which actors were really Russian. The only one they seemed fairly certain of was Robbie Coltrane. As it turns out, none of them were really Russian.

My stepmother said how poor Brosnan's accent was. Robbie Coltrane's great.

scorpion king
the rock could have passed better if they did is makeup and hair right. he's black after all. strongly evident in Be Cool

The person that stuck out the most to me in the movie was that asian chick.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W_0c-a838dI

anyway, the entire movie is flawed to hell

a lot of the events that take place, take place after egypt as beem welss establiched.
in the movie it isnt yet

also they call him "the acadian"...which is basicly arbic i think.
and their were no arab around at that time.
they didnt come into the picture to about the 17th 18th dynatasy. and according to the movie they hadnt even had the first dynasy yet.

their could be a few things im missing, Id have to watch it again to be sure

Oh I'm not too finicky over the nationality of the actor. But it stood out enough for me. It was a pretty damn good film all the same.
