Well, first off I wanted to ask what everybody thought was the best Transformers series they've seen. I think the Original, followed by Beast Wars was the best. The new stuff is crap.

I liked the movie and the resurrection of Optimus Prime both where pr0 and pretty fucking awesome at the time as it didn't treat kids like retards. I mean yeah it was slighty corny and omgz the hero wins in the end but it had some pretty emotional shit in there too.
The only kids show I know with more depth was Teknoman but that was really a pretty descent anime they fucked with till it fit the 'kids' show ideal (i.e. cut out all the blood) that show was still pretty hardcore emotion wise you have this dude who lost his memories after being turned into some alien supersoldier and all he know is that he has to save the earth and the only way we can do that is killing his former friends and family (also alien supersoldiers) I mean his sister gets crucfied then commits sucide that's pretty fucking deep.
Transformers didn't pussyfoot around kids as much not like it does now and that's why it was to be respected, now it sucks the cock of political correctness and I think I saw a robot cry the other day ...

as i remember it when it first premired in canada it was called beasties. hehe, then when it went to fox and other stations, went americanized and was called beast wars. im still not sure if it is actually called beasties originally, but from my childhood thats how i remember it, but the prefered name is beast wars since it is the beast wars. i never got into transformers, wasnt cool enough for me.
but i did watch plenty of other crap television used to be my life, any tv shows you guys can remember spill em to me, and ill say yeah that was ok.
