everybody i know that watches adult swim is going apeshit over this show. it's gonna kick ass

unfortunatly those arent the people who get to decided if it stays or not.

its gonna be the same people that make all the decisions
old white people stuck in the past with the wrong idea about everything.

boondocks is gonna go out the same way Method & Red did.
the shows that have a strong and direct black point of veiw never seem to flurish.
i'll enjoy it while it lasts

I dont want it to be cancelled.
but when you look at the history of things this has two choices. cancelation or censoring itself(and becoming lame) and I think the creator feels strong enuff about it that he'd never censor himself or push a diluted version of the show out to the world.

So basicly, either get ready to buy dvds.
tape it
or hope its picked up by hbo or comedy central.

My brother has a Nielsen box. Apparently he counts for 30,000 viewers. I wonder what he thinks of the show. I know he watches Adult Swim a lot.

considering some of the stuff that they get away with on adult swim boondocks would have to go pretty far to get cancelled

well the thing about boondocks is that its not really visually graphic at all.

its more of a veiw. racial, political, etc...

you can show all the porn and violence you want and get away with it.

but you make a negetive comment on somthing and dont play a luagh track aftward, youre looking at serious contraversy.

theirs lots of honesty in the in the series. and honesty is somthing nobody seems to want.

Except for everyone. The fact that people love the series for the same reason that it's in danger of being canceled says something about honesty in the media.

i've been watching this show since it started. Only one i've missed so far was the pilot, and i've got to say it's fucking great.

Strangely though, i have this feeling that it's not gonna be a big hit with it's target audience (African Americans)
