Tbh I've had it up the neck with Guy Ricthie he's the film version of Tom Clancy he somehow manages to get great character performance for otherwise shity actors (wtf vinnie jones? ) which carries his films but to be honest it allll soooooo samey !!!!!

Dog soliders had soem pretty funny sarky lines but tbh a film needs to be more than a gag rell ffs.

to be honest american ganster movies fall into two categories with no reall middle ground and no category really valid for present day.

The first old mafia style

The second is 80-90s style gangsta

oh come on, are you serious?

you're gonna hold that up with the likes of The Untouchables, The Godfather series, stuff like that?

hell it's good, but nothing beats clasic mafia gangster movies. Hell i just saw Suicide Kings the other day. Dunno if that falls into modern gangster, but it's still damn good.

the mafia shit leaves nothing to the Imagination, and, dog soldiers was cool, but i still say brit gangster films bury their US counterparts 6 feet under.
i mean, who can forget "get carter" and the original "the italian job" i say the original because the most recent one completely bastardised the entire concept of the original.
mark whallberg? give me a fucking break. the only thing that can come from american film companies remaking british films is tragedy.

Suicide Kings had both the badass element and the comedy element, which is good, cause without it, that movie would be unbearably dark i think.

And remakes in general usualy suck, no matter who does them.

I'm somewhat curious about Domino. Mostly because the lead actress manages to look both tough and sexy at the same time, which is usualy quite difficult to pull off.

You forget that all he touches does not always turn to gold.

That movie he made with his wife madonna in it...that was bad.

How can you not know who Kiera Knightly is?
She plays lots of not so weak women. She was the chick in Pirates of the Carribean, the chick (the non indian one)in Bend it like beckam, Guinevere in Arthur, she plays ELIZABETH in Pride of Prejudice.......
