Doom: the movie

I got excited when i heard about it.

Then a found out the Rock was going to be in it....

i figured he hasnt really fucked anything up, he's not who i would have chosen for the role but he might surprise me.

then i found out his not the "doom guy" a sigh of relif...

then i found out more about the movie

theirs a pic of the marines floating around.....they look like regular swat guys.

Theirs no Demons or Hell stuff.

and it doesnt even take place on mars.

???

if they wanted to make a sci-fi movie they should have just made one without using the doom name.

I wish they would stop doing that with videogame movies.

They need a Castlevania movie though. How fucking sweet would that be?

Oh a side note: Is Trent Reznor scoring the music for the film?

TSW owned I agree. I'll watch it and enjoy it any day.
But i dont think it quite fit the title it was given.

Still though, i mean Resident Evil wasn't the most incredable movie ever, but it was still good and it kept with the games, why can't people just do that more often?

I heard about it on Penny Arcade some time ago. No Hell demons in Doom? It's just going to be a movie about guns.

Then again I haven't played Doom 3, so maybe it has a plot or something. Then they could retain part of that.
