Favored Non-traditional sword weapon?

I've always loved axes and scythes myself

but I have to say... games don't usualy have axe or scythe characters to often

so my favorite game weapon would probably be the tonfas or bat'leth

Pole weapons (ie poleaxe, halbreds)
Bow/Crossbow
Axe
Claws
Daggers/elbow daggers

Oddly enough I'm not a fan of whips as weapons.

there are a few in the suikoden series that use bows, and in legends of dragoon, but I can't think of toehrs

and as for girls that can bare knuckle box...

if it's animeish sure... bit in reality... to buff... I like my woman feminane

Usually things that are quick, except with the bladed-staff-like weaponsand swords
but most of the time just open-hand fighting
