They used to give away huge stickers for the original Playstation in magazines. They would cover the entire top of the unit. And they looked really naff.

Im too chicken shit.

I hear you can mod your Xbox HD to save games and play them without having the original disc.
you can even get linux on there.

sounds awsome. but im too afraid I'll fuck it up.

I've seen some awsome Xbox mods online, dunno where.
seen then come in red, blue, glow in the dark, opaque, all of them custom built

I was gonna mod the appearrence of my pc and build it into a Budweiser Beer box (24pack) but I didnt go thru with it. still got the box tho.

IF I ever did mod an xbox it would be later, cuzz in not doing it any time soon. I'd wait till all the games get real cheap and fit it with bigass HD and burn loads of them.

as fot the external appearance...
I would probably discard most of the original casing and replace it with a metal mesh like FIG.1 and the put a logo FIG.2(which i made just yesterday) on the top. figure out a wat to make a door open like a hatch. and call it an ammo box

FIG.1

FIG.2

Echo's put Linux on his Xbox. Obviously I would too if I had an Xbox. I think he was really talking about physical modifcations though.

ammo box it is then.
Maybe it'd wrap a loaded ammo strap around the side of it too.

it would really be sick if i could open it up and store a real hand gun inside.

cant be arsed clicking link, but im asuming its the bullet proof x-box story, hehe, that were cool, only console ive ever considered worth moddin in the x-box tho, soon as i get my ps2 back its just gona sit on the shelf and gather dust

if i had a job id have an x-box, and id be modding it, cos its easy enough, basicly a pc

ah, no, cept, unlike anything by micro$oft, its unlikely to ever need to deflect them, thus micro$ofts hardware is bullet proof by default
