I know theres alot of bickering over 2 Edition and 3.5 but i was taught on 3 and then 3.5 so its all i know.

Just curios though, anyone here who does play, what kind of character do you play?

I play Dwarven Defender in the main camp we do and in the side one i play a dwarven samuri. the one we dont do too much so im not really into the character but in the main camp i love my character. it was the first one i ever made and im quite proud of him. If i get time later and anyone wants to see ill type up a breif character sheet on him.

it's cause dwarves are so much better than all other demi-humans

only thing over a dwarf I would play is a human.

and the sad thing is... with 3rd... I don't doubt that a dwarf could be a samuria... cause 3rd is stupid like that

probly not but hey thats why i play the game to customize things to make it interesting

B) I play AD&D the only way to go. My First character and most accomplished is Kaji a mindflayer(Illithid) mage/psionics. He is of Lawfull evil alginment and has a Dog which is what he calls his firedrake. But he is retired now so I have him play as a Npc in the games I DM unless someone wants to DM him. Anybody come on please. I will put up the rest later so my post count can go up.

yeah, kaji is from a time before we knew what we were doing... much like 3rd is all the time

I have 2 retired characters from that era as well

Grimlock the deep dragon (class never meant anything to him it seems)

and Naga the Yuan-ti fighter/mage

B) My second character isnt as accomplished as Kaji mostly because I only play a few sessions with him. But over those session I develop him into one of the greastest characters ever. His name is Rick a finhead saurian fighter and the "best friend" of Will's character Naga. He is truely just a great character he is hyper, short attention span, annoying, SUPER lucky not ever bad happens to him really, and so brave that it is on the line of stupid. Naga loves Rick! Rick and Naga are like brother even though Naga is Rick's side kick Rick still lets him follow him around.

love is that thing where you absolutly despise someone and want to kill them but can't due to a stupid religious thing about not killing reptiles... right?

human fighters, and nothing more.

I play zhou yu, a character with stats and appearance based on his namesake. Also "Iron Jack Rackham" who i'm thinking of renaming "14" the pirate.
