few things to say .

1. Damnit. Why does doom3 have to be released the day i get back into school? Talk about anticipating the day i get back into slavery!

2. consolewars/microslut bullshitte debate in here. You all have different opinions, there's no avoiding that, and no getting around it. Drop it. Make another topic about it if you have to, but dont spam up other topics just because you dont like someone elses idea on it.

Becky was really getting into DOOM 2 the other day. I was quite surprised. She was still using the keyboard but I eased her onto the mouse. She got the hang of it.

Trent Reznor was supposed to produce the music for the game, but it fell through.

Yeah I know NIN did the music for Quake. It's a shame that fell through. It sounded very cool.

DOOM 3 will be native on Linux. Unfortunately the Linux version hasn't been released yet but they expect it'll be out by the end of the month. But some Linux peeps were so desperate to get it that Transgaming fixed their "Windows emulator" just to make it run. As it happens, they didn't have to do much. So that's pretty cool.

No he will say Counterstrike. I cut my online teeth on Quake 2. I love Unreal Tournament but I miss Quake 2 sometimes. It's not so "in your face" as Unreal Tournament is. You used to actually take the time to chat to people during the game. No one does that anymore. Deathmatch doesn't seem as sociable as it used to be. I don't know why though. There's no reason why people couldn't talk to each other in UT. They just don't.
