does anybody know what some alternative options are to BSP?

This no concave geometry shit is such a bitch to deal with.
trying to do any kinda of realistic geopgraphic terrain seems near impossible.

Heh unless Joe knows, this probably isn't the place to ask. I know that BSP stands for Binary Space Partitioning and I know roughly how it applies to DOOM but that's about it.

Hmmm. You usually can't get right to the top of a hill. It boxes you in. UT2003/4 was a slight improvement. Apart from that, the last time I remember seeing any dramatic scenery was Duke Nukem 3D with that level set in the Grand Canyon.
