I'll be the first to say that there's not much different from Red and Blue. I'll also be the first to say that I couldn't care less. It's sooo much fun. It doesn't matter if you've played the game a million times. They still find a way to make it fun. Plus, with the addition of online battling and trading, it's a tough deal to pass up.

I just got my first EVER Machamp and Golem. You have to trade them to get them to evolve, but I NEVER had anybody to trade with before. The GTS trade system is freaking brilliant. I traded a Kadabra today lvl 25, and somebody actually traded a Lvl 45 Machoke (that turned into a Machamp) for it today. FREAKING AWESOME. It's now my #1 pokemon. I can't wait to get more .

Do they still grow faster?

Oh yeah, all traded Pokemon get a EXP boost in battle. About 1.5 times as much, if not twice as much.




So who all has Pokemon Pearl or Diamond? I have a SHIT load of Pokemon to trade if anybody needs the hook up.

It came out on the 21st of June here... yes... only just then. I'm tempted to get it. Pearl or diamond?

They're both pretty much the same. Different types of Pokemon appear in each version, and some that appear in both appear more often in one version than they do the other. From what my one friend says, the Legendary in Pearl is better than the Legendary in Diamond though.

I know that... I guess i'll get what everyone else doesn't have so swapping makes more sense. Probably Pearl, probably be the boy, wtf is with the chick 'dawn' and her clothes.

Actually it's not her clothes it's the hair... wtf is with her hair. Then i'd probably pick Turtwig because he's the cutest of the three. A flaming monkey seems ...fairly MEH... and the cutesy penguin thing is meh too, though it apparently has good stats towards the last evolution.

Who knows i've never played one.
but i did get bored and Wiki'ed it.

So I have 430 Pokemon now. If Anybody needs any rare pokemon or what not, let me know and I'll hook it up.


150 hours into it . . . sexing and trading like crazy.

Anybody playing this anymore? I've been picking it up during my free time at school (a lot) and I'm up to about 300 hours. I have 481 pokemon . . . I'm looking to unload a lot of rare pokemon to my friends just for the hell of it. If you want to complete your Pokedex and need a few pokemon, drop me a line.

Just got caught up in heavenly sword, zelda, marvel ultimate alliance and forgot about pokemon.

Ohhh, how is Zelda! I'm going to get that for Xmas. Truth be told, I haven't beaten any game I bought last Christmas since maybe April. I'm one lazy gamer too.

Well Marna bought Diamond yesterday. Who knows why.
