Actually it's true, we go to the Chinese place down the road for our fish and chips. It's better than the other chippy. Marna's favourite is chips and fried rice with curry sauce. :D I do choose something Chinese occasionally though. :P The people in there are really friendly. We call the guy "Mr Egg Fwy Why" because he can't say egg fried rice to save his life and he always asks if you want any. We don't call him that to his face though obviously. Hehe.

chips and gravy are the only non-chinese dish at our local. The cooking sucks, though. They changed chefs and now everything tastes like arse.

My dad actually makes awesome fish and chips. Deep fried stuff usually sucks at fish and chip shops here... because there oil is always soooo dirty and they can't make a good beer batter to save there life. There was one good once in bendigo but they closed down :(

You actually gave the guy a name?

LOL oh dear gosh i don't even want to know what i would be called.

....Do i want to know when you tasted ass matt?

We go there quite a lot. I'd really rather not but Marna nags and nags and nags until I give in. She didn't have to nag tonight though because I'd already had my own dinner and she'd just finished a hellish shift at midnight. She has to be up again before 6am. :(

it was still open at midnight?

LMAO... screw that I'm at work long enough as it is. That would make like a 13 hour shift. FUCK THAT.

After days that are hell I'm no longer hungry...after being around food all day it's not appealing. I had icecream for dinner the other day because the thought of anything hot made me want to puke.

Take aways are a very lucrative business late on a Saturday night. I think they're always open till midnight though, probably later on a Saturday. I think the only other time they're open is lunchtime though.

I never really thought of chinese as an option because i'm really picky when it comes to chinese food.

Pizza and souvlaki yes, cooked up breakfast come dinner sure thing.

That said I only know of one CBD Chinese place that is open til late i think they close at 2am.

I know what a donner kebab is. I had several back in the days before I even thought about my arteries. On one particular occasion, I was just asking to die. We were walking back from Newcastle Students Union and stopped off at this place. I got a 12" donner kebab pizza of all things and then proceeded to eat it while walking at the same time. I may not go to the gym enough these days but at least I don't do things like that anymore.
