Castlevania

Johnny mentioned Castlevania just now. I hear a lot of you mention it from time to time. I don't understand how it's completely managed to pass me by when it must be the only game that's literally been released on every single platform I've ever owned. That's the MSX, the Commodore 64, the Amiga, the Gameboy, the PC, the PS and the PS2. I don't even know anything about it!

Edit: Oops. Forgot about my Mac that's sitting across the room. It wasn't released on that. Well it's Marna's Mac really anyway.

hmm I remember playing a game on that called Dark Castle.

i dont remember any detailed. but you walked around a castle and hit stuff.
it wouldnt happen to have been some sort of translation would it?

Symphony of the Night is a great game, especially for PSX owners who miss side scrollers. I hear that the ones on the DS are pretty good too. Just don't read any Anne Rice novels.

Symphony of the Night was great, but I think I liked XX either a little more or about the same.

SOTN is coming to XBLA this year

I've never played any of the 3d games of the series, they all got bad reveiws that all mentioned a slower pace. I always root for those efforts but they always fail miserably.

I think they need to stop adding random belmonts, and go back to Simon.
CV2 Simon. all the other varients look like conan.

Nah it was called Castlevania on there. But I found the game you're talking about.
