Blue Dragon seems to be right around the corner in Japan.
which means they can get started on translation for those of us that eat Hotdogs(or have tea time)

I think it looks pretty damn good graphicly.
that was never an issue. but its nice to have the confirmation.

The rest of the game is what really matters.
it'll probably be my 3rd prg on 360.
hopefully its a bit more interesting and a bit more epic than Enchanted Arms.(didnt suck, but it wasnt great either)

its probably not safe for me to hope its going to be the next Chrono Trigger (meant that figurativly) but all signs certainly do seem to point in that direction.

It does look pretty. I've seen a few commercials for it already. It will definitely sell more systems here in Japan, but Xbox is still doomed with the Wii and PS3 just being released in Japan. Should sell like hotcakes in the states and in Europe though! Have you seen that Earth Defense force game? That looks FREAKING AWESOME! You fight Godzilla type monsters and the graphics are just mindblowingly cool!

There are only 3 dragons in eragon that you actually hear about. One that you actually interact with in the book which is saphira.

They mention vlo(insert rest of wierd name)ox's black dragon and the 2 eggs of dragons but that's about it. they also mention the other dragon called saphira in a smidge of detail....

.... there really aren't alot of dragons in saphira.

You'd be better off reading an Anne McCaffrey, Naomi Novik or prehaps Mercedes Lackey (but her dragons don't get nearly enough air time for dragons imho)

the dragon is actually the kids shadow. I think the villan of the game may also be a dragon. all the other characters seem to be...somthing else.

youtube clip music sucks.

I've just checked out a video of this, it kinda looks like a really cheap Final Fantasy rip off. The niche involved? Anime retard fans.

its more final fantasy than the last 3 final fantasys.

oh yeah, and about blue dragon.

First thought was the characters looked like crap, but the music was awesome

then the credits started rolling, and it made perfect sense.

Umatsu is the man.

Oh, and i really hope they ditch the stupid voice. If i heard 'Item' and 'nothing' all the time, i'd start hitting walls with my head. The idea of searching all over the place for stuff has a great old school feel to it that i like, but at the same time... HP from a windmill? Huh?

and Will, i really recomend the Naomi Novik stuff. I was impressed with it.

I dunno, I think I nearly went into a coma reading the jade book.

I'm always in two minds about Uematsu he's either the greatest game composer ever or a guy that copies 90% of his on work everytime. I can never figure out if he's being lame or beign really clever by linking the series with music.
