It was Evil Matt who had that great argument that Squall is gay. It was Rinoa and the rest of the gang pressuring him into the relationship, he didn't act interested until the end. That's why there's been a lot of gay people who've had wives and kids before they came out.

My favorite part was how when they were talking about how they felt they had some extra power or some shit... that first fight with a red dragon as leon? Odin killed it.

The Leon I'm talking about is the revised version of Squall that appears in Kingdom Hearts.

with nomura at the helm of things the character is very different from the original ff8 version.
I suspect that the KH version is what squall was originally ment to be in the first place. however due to ff8 being clearly rushed and nomuras role in ff8's development being a little restricted. we got a bastardized version that was probably edited to hell to fit a rushed storyline.

Leon rocks
and from my memories of KH1 and KH: CoM he's sorta what Sora aspires to be.
I havent played KH2 tho. so that could be wrong

Mostly I am thinking about Leon but Squall is Leon, infact in KH2 he returns to his Squall name.

The character was cool but there was just some problems with the character speech (translation maybe ?) and the story (it's written by japanese people) than fuck it up.

leon from ff8 was cool

Anything at all dealing with kingdom hearts = not cool

There was no Leon in FF8
