i just rebeat the old snes earthworm jims using roms and save states(its fine i actually do own the real copies of them both) it was still challenging to do, stupid games but hell i did get through them. i also watched my friend geoff beat super ghosts and ghouls using save states(thats fine too i own that one) damn that game shouldnt have been built, when he finally got to the end they told him to start again with the worst weapon in the game and to go through with that, and then beat it, stupid eh? and ive recognized none of youse know how to play minesweeeper, my best time on expert is 230, just open it up and right and left click to try to narrow it down to one bomb, after that you just need to flag it off and continue. i have also been playing chess online and hopefully am going to start shadow of the collosus. but i also want to buy the new monster rancher, naruto game for gba and fire emblem. anyone know which of these are crap?

fire emblem is awesome. I have the first one for GBA

It begs for a DS version though. I swear the designers had tactics style games in mind when they built the thing. Advance Wars DS is a good show of how well the system can work.

I remember beating ghouls and ghost, without roms and saves.
I was so fucking pissed off when they sent me back.

but when i made it back to the end the second time i almost didnt wanna go thru the door. i was afraid the game was going to be a never ending loop.

Recently we cleared a bunch of trash out of the attic and laid down some rugs up there. We put a spare television in the space and plugged the old NES in. Instant classic gaming haven. My brother went one better though, and stuck an old computer up there with a couple of USB controllers, then installed the appropriate emulators. Now we have all classic games. It's pretty gorgeous.

So yeah, I've been rocking The Adventure of Link.

Darkwatch

Feels like a B movie.
Feels like a B game.
its too easy, and the storyline is terrible.

and yet I pretty much like it.

the theme it offers up is very unique to the genre
if sombody desribed it to you you'd probably be under the impression that it was a 3rd person action game...probably along the lines of Legacy og Kain.
however its an FPS.

I think what forces me to like it is that concepts and designs are pretty unique.
its like vampire/steampunk. had a bit of trouble tracking down the artist responsible, but he's got some great work.

the monsters are zombies and ghosts etc, but the game dosent try to be Doom.
(hehehe, or maybe it does and does a terrible job)

good deal at $20 too.

Rumor is theyre making a second game on 360.
sounds kind crazy to say, but if they can manage to keep the game as lame as it is, I might pick that up too.....when the price drops to somthing like $20-$30

PS. three members of my family have cited Chakan: The Forever Man, as a game it reminds them of without me even asking.

Currently playing Enchanted arms

It feels a whole hell of a lot lot an updated FF9 so far.
quite a few similarities between the two games.

the battle system is ok, but I think i got the hang of it.
havent played online just yet.

the gay character actually inst half as bad as that video made him look.
very easy to get used to.
the character is more annoying for other personality traits than his stereo gayness

got a special edition manga iinside

manga sucks
reading is a pain in the ass if youve been reading comics your entire life.

cat really rate say too much more at the moment cuzz i just started.
however, one of the summon monsters "vandog" is clearly Anubis.
so it gets cool points for that alone.
now if only i can figure out how to synth one for myself.

Currently playing:

Command and Conquer: The First Decade. Finally enjoying Tiberian Sun working properly with Windows XP. I was playing it before (when I'd bought it for £5 on the Soldout Software range) and it kept crashing on snow maps. Which meant I couldn't finish the story :( There's aot of them to play through as well :D

World of Warcraft: Playing a private server because I'm a cheapskate.

Resident Evil 4: On the Gamecube, the only way it should be played xD
