I just had a quick bash on the original PSX version of Wipeout, emulated under Linux, using the Wii classic controller. How awesome is that! :D Harder than I remember though. :? For some reason, I keep trying to use the left airbrake when I'm supposed to use the right, and vice-versa.

Red Dead's a one of a kind. sure its a gta clone and the formats generally all the same.
but its setting seems is so strong that it over powers its inherent GTAness.

So you know....
stop comparing it, or you'll never play anything.

You and and Chewi should try Left 4 Dead 2 if you haven't already.
Parts of it are set in Georgia.
funfact: Zombie Land was filmed in Georgia.

I don't know if my Backloggery sig will show up, but I've been playing some DBZ Tenkaichi Budokai 2, some new Taiko Drum master, and I just beat Front Mission 1 for the DS (QUITE ADDICTING!).

I love giant robot action, even on a small screen.

I was in Downtown NOLA when the Valve team came through a couple years ago. They did a killer job with some parts of the French Quarter and City Park. I play the shit out of it too.

Playing Crysis at the moment, fuckin' fun game. Friend gave me his last video card, a GeForce 9600 GT, thing rocks for Medium graphics. Full System settings are only a dream to me, though nevertheless the game ROCKS.

Arkham asylum?

That is a perfect example of a really tight game.
It doesn't do too many things. And everything it does, it does very well.
Triple A+ title IMO.

I wish I had it.
When I first heard about it I thought it was just a throw away gimmick add-on.
but after seeing the ad, it looks like a full of 'game' of its own.
I hear they'll be selling disc copies pretty soon.
