This made me laugh when I heard it. The nintendo Wii, I dunno what possessed them. I hope it doesn't lose people's appeal to the new console, it does make it sound like Nintendo are making it more childish, when the market demands adult games. I hope not too many people think that though.

But I for one would love to own a Wii.

I think nintendo is gonna come out pretty big this time.
i think people how found that theirs lots of money in simpler games.

its what fuels xbox live aracde.
sony is setup to copy the live aracde system not only on ps3 but psp aswell.

not only that, but nintendo is supposedly making all theyr first party titles ever availible on a similar arcade system. so on your Wii you'll be able to play super mario bros 3 if you want.

i just found its pronounced "Wee"

Man, I can't wait for this. Now I can have all my friends over, and we can all play with our Wiis together. The best part is, it's wireless, so there's no mess to clean up afterwards!

But in all seriousness...it's absolutely the stupidest name I've heard. It may sound all cool in Japan, but here, not so much. I just hope NoA gets the name of our version changed. Kinda like a Famicom/NES dealy. Hopefully.

I think the suicide rate of people who work in games stores is going to go up. With the amount of people who come in and ask, "Can I have a wee, please?", and think it's funny.

The Nintendo conference was really impressive, I wish I could've been there. The Sony conference was really poor in comparison.

i agree, but in their defense, they really don't have anything new to show. they pulled out all their good shit last year. I suppose they COULD show another FF7 clip again, but i think we're all onto that little stunt now.
