Paint, Pain and Propaine!... (well, cO2 - but bear with me :P)

This game's brought me alltogether months of fun, permenant welts, and handfulls of friends all across the West Coast, and Central United States. I've been in two leagues this past year for both the spring and summer, and it's been one Hell of a blast playing for teams such as FSL Factory's Team Reaper in Minnessotta, and Team Dynasty's A-B Team up here in the Northwest.

National Professional Paintball League

Any other players out there?

Paint Ball in the US OWNS THE face of the crappy thing we have over here (a coupla wooden pallets in a forest.

it's illegal to own a Paintball gun in this country cause you might freeze the pellets and shoot someone, which may cause death .. we'll conviently forget that a guy was shot with a REAL gun just yeterday.

Is that just a Northern Ireland thing? I knew people in Jersey that owned some. It was quite funny, you had to fill in the usual gun license form. Calibre? 5cm.

Oh and I played it once. I got really badly sunburnt on the back of my neck. I couldn't see a thing through the mask. The only person I hit was on my own team. And all that cost me a fortune. Never again.

There was a real live Jersey cow in our arena though, that was pretty funny.

After I got owned the first time I picked up a paintball gun, I got ambitious and persued it. Probably because I got lucky that the guy who owned me turned out to be my future league coach.

All in all, good Rec. sport - even for the non-dedicated. A Hell of a way to spend a company picnic too.

:P

yea i been. Its great i got owned in one stage. I did ran on to some logs and jumped doing a twist in mid air ... u know like the matix but my foot caught on the end of the jump fell flat on my back. Paint was coming at me from everywhere .... i but my back up againt a tree then i got 3 shots in the head and 1 in the head, went through the mask and a bit in my eyes thats where i had to come off to get cleaned out.

It does hurt but thats half the fun for me. Much better than shitty laser quest. Some places here its a bit expensive but i wouldnt mind doing it again. We were hoping to form a team. We were gonna get a set for cheap, not bad guns either, no idea on the laws but u can get them easy enough. Just online and have to be over 18.

I think i have a pic of it some where
