Ok, so when this came out I was pretty excited about it. But when I heard Mike (yes, WildCard) say to me it was shite and Killzone was better, it put me off. Mike's a long time fan of the game and has pretty good taste in games.

But, after playing Killzone at Lynns (watching her kick ass on it :P) I came to the decision, as nice as Killzone looks, it's pretty shit and nothing special. So then I sought after MGS3 to make my own mind up on it.

I gotta say, Mike must have been pretty skeptical of this game in the first place, because in all honesty, I played it, I loved it.

The camera angles were pretty weird at first, but as of now, I've gotten really used to them and being able to move the camera gives that bit more freedom. Making you look into first person to see things better is great too. I mean, it's so much better to be able to do that, let alone making you do that to get a better view. The guns and aiming couldn't be better, I've gotten pretty good at getting headshots from distances and not getting caught. The game is just wholey harder on the whole.

This game takes nothing from the Metal Gear series in gameplay, imho.

Now the story...I did think the story was pretty weak. Such names like "The Boss" "The End" just sucked for me. But it was much better than the stupid vampire guy from MGS2. The story had a nice change, with the Shagohod instead of a Metal Gear, I thought that was a nice twist. Also, the twist with Ocelot, whom I assumed was my enemy through the game, until the very end.

All in all, I liked this game, so much i'm playing it again to colect things and do things better. It's fun to fuck about on and its fun to get serious with. The story is full of plot holes. But never the less, enjoyable the first time around.

Metal Gear fans, like Mike, I'd say should give it another try and not to be so skeptical of every fault. I knew alot about the faults, reading about them and being told about them, putting those quite easily aside, I still enjoyed this game.

(Ok, I should NOT have to do this, but yeah, I've mentioned Mike, get over it. When this game first came out, he was the first person I knew to get it, furthermore, it seemded he enjoyed the whole series of Metal gear Solids as mucha s I did. So keep all "OMMMMMMG U SED MEIKEEEEE" to yourself.)

frankly I couldn't give a shit wither mike(wildcard) got hit by a bus or not. So you mentioning him hasn't upset me in the slightest if it did bother anyone they should remove their face with a shotgun.

I can't judge the game I refuse to play it, in form of protest.

I dont think anyone was going to be particularily upset you mentioned Mike, since it was purely in context and uninflammatory....well until you got to the end bit... which is probably why Mik will want to Bite you soon.

Haven't played it... probably will one of these days

There's mentioning something and then there is bringing bullshit back up for discussing. Currently you are about to embark on the latter when you where safely on the former. I suggest you let it go and continue to discuss MGS... or find me my cookie damnit

I liked the game too, but the song is embarrassingly bad.
