I think that inherently makes it NOT an RPG. Unless it's like Tales. However, I think with the advances we've made as far as hardware goes, I'm not convinced it's too much to ask for a 50-70 hour Twilight Princess-style adventure game that fights like Ninja Gaiden with character growth like an RPG. But that's either not been thought of, or would be simply way too expensive and take way too long to develop. I suppose that may just a game analyst's pipedream.

i remember when systems ran about 120 bucks and games about 20

these days that's what the cheaper portable systems cost.

Back in my day you could go to the movies with a quarter, watch a movie gets something to eat and still have a nickel left over.

then you whipper snappers came along with your short skirts and the rap music.
