They may have decided to make her a standard reoccuring character like link zelda and gannon. Its hard to imagine theyd just leave her out.

then again i havenmt seen any fairy at all either. purely a gimmic to help guide the player thru the gameplay, but turned out cool as a side effect.

It's not one of those release dates I'm bothered about now, because they're developing a version for the Wii. That's the one I'm gonna get.
