Needs restructuring.
but most other formats it could go into dont really allow for fluid conversation posts as this does.

It was never that busy.

In fact that was originally kind of the point, that and I was butt-hurt about those assholes at Alpha not respecting my awesomeness (Ha, outlived those cunts anyway).

I think we had one too many drama-llama sessions, coupled with a few server moves and the fact that 11 years has past and we don't really attract new people, that pretty much KO'd the member base.

Still the nostalgia trip every few months is good for the soul, reading back my old self, it's a good ego check  . 2005 me had a lot of misplaced hopes and dreams though, so fuck that guy.

*dramatic tense music*

At the turn of the century, Aura was Alpha's Prison Colony.

A place made for Gods unwanted children, the Devils rejects.

You could say they were the ones that lost their way,
but I think it was the Way that lost them...

*music volume x20! Burn - Nine Inch Nails*
*Flash: 80's-90's graffiti*

*Flash: Mik swatting kittens with golf clubs*

*Flash: street sign that says "Porno Forum this way!"*

*Flash: Chewi humping a penguin, with a random woman moaning in extacy in the background*

*Flash: Les doing the sexy librarian thing under strobe lights*

AURA: The Movie.

Sounds like a summer tent pole movie of the future to me.

I've been here since 2004 and that's just shocking. I didn't even think I had the internets in 2004. I always think I got it installed a couple of years ago.

Two more years and it's been a decade for me. I think I'll light a candle or something.

Anyway, it was a lot busier than it is today. It's just generally, now I think about it, it was all drama of some form, and kind of generally surrounding me. So, in essence, by not being a drama whore anymore I killed the forum (or perhaps by being a drama whore I killed the forum, depending on how negative you want to be. Mr Negative, you.).

I doubt it was any one factor and just cause it's dormant doesn't mean it's all the way dead, maybe it'll arise from the ashes, like a batman.

Also I'm pretty sure all the reg dates (2004) are just from when we moved formats, Aura itself dated back to 99 or so. EZboard to UBB to Invision I think was the order. It's alarming how often I broke the EZboard since all I had was access was a colour panel and some minor access to some formatting.

Yep we turn 13 next month. :D Or 14 if you count the year my FFVII site existed before the forums.

Indeed, I was here slightly before the move to IPB. I was happy to help moving to phpBB too :D

I think I kind of like how it's quiet. There are a few people on here I never see anymore since I got my new computer. I'm just really bad at transferring stuff on computers.

oh...Hi btw.

I lured in Mel, simply by doing nothing at all to lure her back.

I'm a devious motherfucker.

No, Matt had PM'ed me some info on Ram. I was wanting to update my ram and had posted on FB.

So really, it was Matt. I did try and find a link to it, but googling Aura and Forums and stuff doesn't turn up anything useful. (I wasn't trying very hard)
