So I was recently (10 seconds ago) talking on one of our other wonderful threads about nostalgia and about how this place exist primarily, these days anyway, as a massive archival boat of fail that I was as a poster and as a human being, circa a couple of years ago.
Nostalgia

The only thing changed, compared to now is that I'm older.

Anywho, I was giving the place a bit of a spring clean and I started browsing through my attachment history.

That brings backs few memories :D

Anyone else have some ancient screen-shots or anything ? I will wait the customary two months for a response, it's cool.

I loved that skin, wonder if I can find enough pieces of it to remake it, time to go rummaging around in my storage hard drive at home, I think.

Are you talking to yourself old man?

A fitting thread for me to pop in under. I was reading the old Aura strips and got nostalgic.

yes, I'm actively talking to myself in a vain hope of reviving the place or going insane.

Aura's strips, eh ? don't recall that.... TO THE ARCHIVE! (cue: Batman campy tv show music)

I found no mention of these "strips", therefore you are talking about things from the before time, from across the sand dunes of f'orum Sof'tware, you speak plain and without hesitation but within your words speak poison, HERETIC!!!!

Anywho, moving swiftly on, In response to myself, no I can't find enough image fragments to remake that banner :(

stupid incomplete image dump. I have mesh screenshots of stuff that Kaos sent me like 3 years ago, but alas none of the cool stuff he made for me.

Edit: putting apostrophes in mundane words makes them look cooler.

Edit II, Ed Harder: We need new smilies (Note to Self: Get non-crappy white background simlies set)

Blake. Blake. Blake. Didn't I have a web design contest against him or something? But for which site?

You probably gayed it all up with too many iframes.

Not iframes, regular frames. I seem to remember my record being 27 or something like that. I can't for the life of me remember why I did it like that.

I think was for this version of the main site.

I think the principle of it was to get the site to appear in the middle of the screen and then each white 'bar' bordering each panel, is actually 4 frames or maybe it was 8, I can't remember.

Which you could do today with maybe 2 lines of code in the CSS and no frames at all.
