Japan earthquake info

Post by Xanien » Mon Mar 14, 2011 4:53 am

If anybody is looking to donate money, Japan Red Cross (also through iTunes), as well as 2nd Harvest Japan are good places to start.

Second Harvest Japan - Home

here's a link of the continued strength of aftershocks and location

Japan Meteorological Agency | Earthquake Information

and some good information about why this MIT scientist believes that there won't be any serious meltdown from the reactors in Fukushima.

Also check the size of this Tsunami at the 0:04 mark. Towers over the houses before slamming into the sea wall. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=inykh...&feature=feedf

Hey man. You messed up your links a bit. Don't forget the youtube tag too. We've been really shocked by what's happened. Thanks to you, we knew about it almost immediately. The news footage is unbelievable and our thoughts go out to everyone over there. I've just donated a little via the British Red Cross here.

It's sad but kind of inspiring the way they deal with things.

Very much so. They are an example to the world. I can't imagine so much order and calm anywhere else in the world under such circumstances.
