Why is it when ever we move any large appliance I end up looking like a losing fight club combatant?
We bought a fridge yesterday and the store lady was helping us load it into the truck.
Dave was up in the truck bed pulling it in with the dolly handle and we was lifting the bottom.
So I ask her before we ever started lifting it "you got a good hold on it right?"
She's all "yeah." So we lift it up while he pulls AND SHE FUCKING LETS GO half way up.
Almost broke BOTH my arms. If Dave hadn't yanked up on it when I started chanting "OUCHIES!"
I'd be wearing casts yet again.. Suffice to say I have two lovely horizontal bone bruises developing across BOTH of my forearms, my right thigh, and my right side ribs took a good hit too.. I'm hurting sore atm heh.. -__-

You'd better doing it without the trolley, they tend to get in the way more than they help.

I moved shit like that around since I was like 14, I scoffed at the safety boots than H&S said we should use in work, then I dropped a fridge on my toe in my own damn house.

Heh. I used to have Docs with steel toecaps just for the hell of it.

Decided to go without them this time because airport scanners were getting annoying. Then they decided that EVERYONE needs to take their fucking shoes off.
