Zimbabwe 2.0
So whats gonna happen to the place?
a lot of people think invasion is the solution, but I think it just creates an alternative problem.
whoever invades, no matter who they are, or how close they are.
is going to want some stake in the place.
Cuzz honestly, nobody is going to do it for free.
Edit: I'd never heard of the AU till now.
They might be the only ones that could solve this without making too much of a mess.
Sure, like everyone else they'd want some political stake. but, it would probably fall in line with what they're already trying to do.

I've heard of the AU but I didn't think they had a military front. Them invading sounds like the best idea to me. The country might even dissolve but I don't think it matters because there isn't much left of it. It'd be better than the people continuing to suffer under that madman.
Taking out Muguabe probably wouldn't be that hard but taking out his warlords could be very tough indeed. I'm not sure how many of them there are.

That seems like the hardest thing.
They have troops, and they've used them before...
even in Darfur.
But it seems like most of the problem areas where they've been deployed have a similar situation, where they're fighting against an ambiguous kind of enemy rather than a clear cut one.
If they could manage the situation in Zimbabwe, and make it a clean win. I think it would be good for the whole continent. and it would defiantly give the AU some steam and respect.

This where the real hypocracy of the 'war of terror' really slaps you in the face, this guy is a clear cut cunt but none wants to try and take him out.
Africa is a fucked up place, but they buy guns so it's all good, let them carry on.

What strikes me is the resilience of some of the Zimbabwean people I've seen interviewed. One guy was in a hospital, half beaten to death, and he said he would still vote MDC.
