One that didn't actually die. Hilarious that Garamond recently was banned from there. For spamming, of course.
Wow... I would have thought even he would have discovered a women by now... maybe I'm setting the bar too high.

FFI might as well be dead.

What happened to you guys, then? When did you stop finding internet drama funny?

Because I love you guys soooo much, and because I think Jim really wanted to reminisce on this, I did some digging in the old BFF folder and found this for you... apologies, but the images don't come with it... I still have them but simply can't make them post in here in their original form... but they consist of an explosion, Gerry Adams holding a gun, and an old FF Aura logo.

========================
FFAura: Harmony in the British Isles, or IRA Conspiracy?

{IMAGE}With the lack of headlines lately covering the oftentimes bloody conflict between the Irish Republican Army and the UK, one might be lulled into thinking that all is well among the British Isles. A recent BFF undercover report however, reveals otherwise.

On an anonymous tip, we were sent on a journey into the heart of the FF Fansite community, to a website held together by a couple of chums, "Chewi" from Jersey Island, and "Mik" of Northern Ireland. The two have been working on the FFAura project now for more than 2 years, however the site has been "Under construction" for nearly 80% of that time. Further investigation revealed that Mik has received letters and birthday wishes from Sinn Fein, the governmental body of Ireland, and known proponents of the IRA.

Our informant tips us off that the site's real purpose is to store and deliver correspondence to and from IRA operatives and sympathisers all over the world. Upon deeper investigation, we learned that the server hosting FFAura, is located in the Netherlands, and run by allged IRA sympathisers well out of the watchful eye of British Intelligence (yes we know that's an oxymoron).

When asked to comment on his site's involvement with an alleged IRA contact Chewi said, "You know, I keep telling him to just use those good old fashioned tables, but he insists on all this layering and stacking bullshit." Of course whether this refers to the possible relationship Chewi may be having with Mik, faulty web design, or the most convienient way to store munitions meant for IRA operatives remains a mystery.

Mik was unavailable for comment, however while his secretary was holding her hand over the phone's mouthpiece, Mik could be heard bitching in the backgound; something about not talking to us for fear of a "capping."

I find the hilarity escalates the more people begin to take it seriously. Like getting legal treats, or permabanning people from site B beause they're from site A (then writing essay length posts about why site A is bad, with it's porn section and disrespect for anyone under the age of 13 and posts "lol Killak. 1) I almost never get out of the house or have people over. basically, I see my friends (including my boyfriend) at church.")

I cannot let such internet dhama go unlaughed at.

I've seen my share of internet drama and I've seen my share of advert remixes. The funniest by far has been girls of about 13 years old not being able to take a diss and a 27 year old paedophillic "webmaster" sticking up for them and tlaking about respect.

Mik, I'd be ashamed, actually, this "webmaster" is Irish :(

Although, I am Irish, I cannot be held responsible for the actions of everyone until they crown me Overlord at which point that cunt can die if you like.

Speaking of Overlord, everyone needs to play the PC/360 videogame of the same name.

Speaking of Gerry Adams, too, I always thought his name was funny when I was about 5, because of Tom and Jerry. Isn't that banned now?

Internet Drama is curable.

It's called not getting online anymore and giving a shit.

Or at least trying not to give a shit.

What irony, I completely missed it! Or are you lisenting to too much Alanis Morrisette?
