My creativity begins and ends with music and writing.

I've tried drawing before.... it wasn't pretty.

Was that a self portrait Ben?

lol, no. I never dreamed of doing one of those, they just seem so... egocentric.

I can sometimes fluke something that is passable but I would find it impossible to repeat and I never practise or even draw unless taken by an extremely bizarre mood.

You should cut off your ear, like Van Gogh (sp)!

Also, I don't really wanna make a living as an artist...they seem to only get rich and famous when they are dead...unless ya name happens to be Jamie Hewlett who invented the love child of Heimrich Himmler and Betty Grabel!

Thats why you combine it with entertainment.
Theirs a lot of traditional artists doing matte paintings for films.

and they're making elephant shit loads at a time.

btw theirs nothing egotistical about a self portrait.
its among the hardest things to do no matter how good you are.
its more of a challenge than anything.
its also a requirement in most art classes.
in my last class we had to do one at the begining of the term and then another at the end of the term..

i never meant it like that, i mean for me to do one of myself would feel egocentric. I don't think people who do self portraits are ego freaks or anything like that.

besides, i can't do visual art like that for my life.
