HOLY SHIT, END OF THE WORLD IMMINENT
When everything is automated. Such as the production of things like computer components and when there is a global network which all computers and robots are connected. Then it's possible for computers to evolve. But thus far and for the next 100 years, we're stuck upgrading them ourselves.

as selfish as humans are...
while I think we can and probably will get to a point where robots can think own there own etc.. as soon as it wants any sort of rights, its gonna get the smack down and a cease production.
it'll only continue if it can and wants to replicate itself.
which probably wont be asy easy as humping another robot.
theirs a cult thats all but died out cuzz one of the rules is like no sex.
now if you wanna talk about robots becoming a little less mechanical...
welcome to blade runner.

That's what I used to believe until someone told me that neurons don't necessarily have simple on and off states. The brain is more analogue than digital in that sense. But at the same time, we are starting to build quantum computers and from what I gather, they are slightly less than digital too so I'm starting to revisit this belief. I was talking to Xuenay about it. He's writing an essay on it, which I plan to read.Lastwolf wrote:When you boil it down all human processess and emotions are just chemical and electrical signals generated in the brain. A synapsic charge = 1, no charge = 0, it's all fairly similar on a basic level.

I know, it's a bit long.
