When you need a feild medic fast,
the medics gotta deal with your damn halo wannabe suit first before he can get to you.
So give him about 10 minutes before you can expect to be operated on.
not the mention the process of trying to get you out of that junk could be what kills you.

yeah he asked people in the feild.
but he asked the wrong people.
its admirable that he asked the actual soldier. but the actual solider sint the guy that should be designing armor either. cuzz im getting the feeling that most of them when asked went with a "It would be cool if" answer rather than "we actually need" answer.

Magnetic holster....
Dumb idea.

Clock...Dumb position
just retarded.

helmet
lights? lets tell all the badguys were to aim at.
not to mention the mobility cut.
the helmet gets 128 degress...
so he ads AC?
functionalty is not about countering a problem that you created
also look at the video again "can you take your helmet off" "sure"
the sound that follows is just hillarious. it shouldnt be that damn hard and take that much effort to take a helmet off.

general mobility.
have you seen the feet on this thing?
you cant seriously expect anyone to beat feet in this rig.

information.
a uniform has information on it.
this has no place for it. im sure he could probably make room for it and add it on.
still. the lack of it tells you about the guys mind set.

camo
their is no hope of stealth on any level with this.

equipment
where do you put all your other equipment?
I've had the privledge and pain of wearing full gear.
its 110 pounds of stuff. on this armor, theirs no place for it.
another big factor of the equipment we have is the modability.
the current design of armor has a high level of modability. basicly you can cafigure it to your specific need on the fly.
I really doubt you can configure this suit to do much of anything.

Evironment
this thing is not going to preform well at all when you have to crawl under somthing, pass through water higher than ankle deep, go through mud, etc...
its also going to take up a whole lot of useless space.
i can easily see a situation were people need to pile in to a vehicle fast, but because of this suit, theirs isnt enough room

this guy just isnt designing for reality here.

sure he's famous for the bear suit. not becuase its worth a damn. but becuase its dumb.

who fucks with bears so much that they need a suit?
bears also dont warn of attacks and give you time to gear up.
if they did that much theyd be a unified bear army too.

This is a prototype, I imagine it could be slim-lined.

The point of the pointer is that he doesn't care if he gets fire to the face, he'll live the other enemy won't.

Magnetics are fine but are slighty gimmicky, the clock postion is in a weird place but it can't be on the arms or anything so I guess it makes sense.

Matters of practically such as medic access could be sorted easily enough

it's bulky as hell. Did you watch that guy try to move it it? it better take bats to the face and arms because you sure as hell aren't gonna get any hits in on your side.

but there's the SPRAY!!! OHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!

It would be good for certain situations perhaps, like people doing construction or something that isn't... well... fighting. You have to be able to move FAST to fight, and that suit just kills your speed and agility.

IF the suit were to become standardized like he dreams of.
then the suit would make itself useless.

if both sides had the suit. the spray is now useless
as is just abou everything else.

it would come down to an armored wrestling match.
