Yesterday was Bendigo Cup day, (Horse racing) and lots of girls where out and about in there pretty little dresses and orthopadically hideous shoes and there hats or fascinators on. Which isn't to unusual...

except that they had forecasted Rain, Hail and pretty much winter conditions. The next town over from me got SNOW.

So yes.... does fashion override the common sense circuit in a girls brain.

Or maybe Aussies just don't believe in snow? I think you're right though, I've heard several people comment on the Newcastle girls and I've seen first-hand on several occasions too - are they cold blooded or something? Probably.

Last friday their was busloads of fashion models at the school
Great time to have a meeting.
I enjoyed it.

a big part of that particular campus is focused on fashion design. so they do shows every once in a while.

eye candy all over the place.

all over the place.

the entire place

covered

completly

as you can see, womens fashion also makes men silly.

I think that's exactly it. Some women feel the trade off of attention over comfort is worth it.

I'd like to address the question I was duped into posting here for. Are women silly creatures?

Yes, they most certainly are :P

yep.

But as for wearing light clothing in cold weather, it was 2'C two nights ago and was out at 2am wearing a T-Shirt so maybe I can't comment.

ha ha..I'm not your average girl. I do my hair, makeup and nails, yet my clothing tends to lean towards tom boyishness... Except i LOVE LOVE LOVE SHOES..but i never buy a pair that hurt. So yet again, I'm different than the average gal. Although, I got to say, I've gone out in the dead winter, 0 degrees Fahrenheit or below in a tank and shorts. I don't know..the cold tends not to bother me. I can't stay out TOO long like that mind you, but to get the mail or whatnot, I'll do it. *shrugs*

I didn't dupe you. did I?

I think i'd be fine with the stupidity... if they didn't bloody complain about it afterwards.

It doesn't take a neurosurgeon to realise that cold weather + skimpy clothes= going to be cold

They can be. But... they are worth it.

I have never seen this girl wear a dress or skirt outside the house. Ever.
