Booga seems like a wimp in the movie. In the comic he's more zany and doesn't give a fuck....except fucking Tank Girl.

Oh and Tank Girl has 2 girl mates called Subgirl and Jetgirl >_>

Woohoo! I thought I remembered a Comic Book thread from General some time ago! And I found it! Welllll, I ended up buying The Watchmen and started reading it last night. Bloody good (both in the british sense and in terms of violence). I'm really compelled to read it now. Hopefully after I finish it I will start to buy more comic booky stuff. I'm planning on getting the Omnibus Graphic Novel for the Uncanny Xmen after this. I've always wanted to read those! And they are only $10 on Amazon a piece!

After I get caught up on all those Xmen collections, I'm thinking of some Frank Miller stuff too.

Spirit was Will Esner or something, Miller is just directing it.

I read watchmen courtesy of Johnny, gonna buy it when I get a bit more spare cash but I want it in hardback. I've been reading marvel zombies too, which is quite fun.

I just finished reading the Marvel Zombies collection. GREAT STUFF ^_^. I found both copies at my local library. You should check into the library. I was surprised at how many comic related graphic novels they had.

mine had quite a few.
then somebody stole them.

I read most of ultimate spider-man that way.
buying the books myself at the time would have cost upwards of $200

I ended up buying the Death of Superman bound book. Can't wait to read the stuff that led up to the death. Doomsday kicked ass.
