Well it certainly worked. Ed also looks like a mass murderer!

Is being a skinhead a rocker/metal head thing, now that scallies n chavs seem to go for the patch work effect?

NB: It just goes to show that punks and metal heads can all get along nicely. It's a reunion The Misfits dance and shout about.

Well a lot of newer bands have had skinheads for a while. I'm not sure what brought it on. Personally, I just needed to do it because I was losing my hair. I saw American History X recently, which reminded that skinheads and metal are popular among Neo Nazis. Hopefully not too many people make that connection.

I've never been a huge fan of old school punk but I did see The Rezillos the other day because I went to see the band supporting them. I'd never heard of them before but they were really good fun! I'd never seen men in their mid-40s mosh before either.

Lol what an image! Though punks don't actually mosh. TRUE punks don't to punk songs anyway.

Ed shaved his head coz he was bored.

The Rezillos are good, I wouldn't go out of my way to see them perform, but they do make cool tunes.

It wasn't moshing in the violent sense, more the vigarous bumping into each other quite hard kinda sense. What do you call that?

We call moshing slamdancing :P also punks don't tend to headbang...that's more associated to metal.

Also skanking is often performed (no it doesn't involve shit, I know it sounds it). You put ya foot forward while lifting each knee, then ya move it back. You have ya elbows bent too. Pogo dancing is common too.

http://www.punk77.co.uk/groups/pogodancing.htm it also metions robot dancing!

Ever tried to punk dance whilst pregnant? I wouldn't recemmond it!

I have skanked to ska though I'd describe as trying to dance like a monkey on speed. Very tiring!

So are you more punk than metal now? :P
