I wouldn't have a clue where to start looking. You've excluded most multiplayer games, and that's not your fault, it's because that's all that gets made. Apart from racing games maybe, but I only really play Mario Kart (which is fucking brilliant on the wii btw)

I agree with Johnny on stat points, in most cases you have to put them in a certain way anyway else you suck. But there are the odd times when you can create a different style of character using them, like in ROSE, if you make the priest style class and give it loads of agility or dexterity I think,...

Personally I think it's ridiculous that people think the moon landing was faked. I've read up on the conspiracy theorists evidence and it's got more holes than my sock drawer.

I watch doctor who, but sometimes I'm disappointed with the writing. Some episodes are just really poor. David Tennant is a great actor, I'm sure he'll grow on you soon, it does take a little time when the doctor changes. Mostly what annoys me about the new series is Russel T Davies, he's gay and in...

I go through phases where I'm bored of posting on forums, I still check Aura most days though. I'll probably make an account on Alpha sometime.

Age of Conan. It's great fun, best combat system of any mmo I have played before. There's a lot of bugs and unfinished stuff but that doesn't really bother me yet, looks like the publishers just pushed the launch too early. It's still very playable though.

I don't think film quality has changed a lot to be honest, you get the occasional great film, the mostly average films, and the shit films. Same as always. The way films are made has changed a lot though, but that is only due to an audience with a decreasing attention span which the film makers are ...

It's funny how everyone recently has become an authority on what should or shouldn't be in an Indiana Jones film. Frankly I'm getting a bit sick of hearing it at work.

You're talking about the cosmic key, Les. They had to rebuild/repair it using keyboards, you can't define the 80's much better than that.

I haven't seen a full trailer for Hellboy, I've been avoiding that one too but only because I'm looking forward to it.

Just back from it. Thoroughly enjoyed it. I waited for the scene at the end and it was definately worth waiting for. I've only been reading short parts of this thread so it didn't ruin anything for me. It's nice being able to watch something like that with no idea about it apart from the limited kno...

I'm not quite sure what you mean. The fact that it was 2 books made it great for a 2 parter though, with the cliffhanger at the end of the first. It's been a long time since I read the books but from what I remember it is pretty much one story, like the Lord of the Rings trilogy is one story.

I guess when they redesigned Nick Fury they had to have the movies in mind. They don't want another Hasselhoff, hehe.

Should be seeing Iron Man at the end of the day.

Yeah, the stories from the GTA3 series were generally cliche plots represented by cutscenes of characters with flappy arms. Not hard to improve on at all. The GTA series is one of those games I enjoy most by finding the daft faults in them. In GTA3 my favourite thing was jumping on a car, shooting d...

I rather liked Doom 3. Don't judge it on games that improved on it after it. The fact that when it came out it was pretty damn good should be enough. There are so many mediocre games that come out which get away with using the exact same systems from years before, in fact the first person shooter ge...
