Re: Tomb Raider

Which kinda my point, right ? Those types of games are successful anyway because generally speaking no-one gives a shit about the main plot line.Elder Scrolls fans like the side quests and shit way more anyway so why pump time and effort into it ? Also, I was thinking the other day, that if you exec...

Re: Marco Polo

After Ögedei died it was never the same, they elected a Great Khan in something called a kurultai, which could only occur in Mongolia, so basically it takes 2 years to get everyone back home. Ögedei died relatively young, he had selected a successor but it's only ever really a suggestion in Mongol c...

Re: Marco Polo

Temujin and his offspring were some of baddest motherfuckers that have ever lived, Ögedei is pretty forgotten only cause he is the son of the great Khan, but it was under his rule that the Empire was close to invading Egypt and was almost assured victory, Europe was on the radar too and they couldn'...

Re: House of Cards

I never saw the original show it was made back in the 1991 and I don't even remember seeing it on which is surprising considering how few stations we had back in those days (4) but then again as an 8 year old, it wasn't really in my wheelhouse. Apparently it was a novel first and the series' are pre...

Re: Tomb Raider

I feel like that's on you though, you are choosing to ignore the narrative of the character and the game is flexible enough to allow you to play your way and still have some content. As to why the plot does not reflect your personal experience, I imagine it's because that would require a massively r...

Re: Promethius

Yeah, I understand cutting for time but when it's a 2 hour movies anyway, why the fuck do you cut key exposition to save 10 minutes max ?

It's another one of those movies were the idea is better than what we saw.

Like Man of steel, that trailer was better than all the movie, in like 80 seconds.

Re: Tomb Raider

Isn't that the essence of a reboot though ? The story of the female Indy Jones doesn't interest me so I never gave a shit after playing the first game, also it was paper thin which even back then was a bit meh. I kinda like the idea of weakening the player through the avatar but I can see how it'll ...

Re: Wolf Among Us

I recently listened to an interview, of sorts, with one the writers of Season 1 episode 4 of the Walking dead game and he seemed to allude they did make alternatives for all the plot, as it had like a flow chart program for figurring out how the final scene plays out to the user dependant on your ch...

Re: Wolf Among Us

Well, a lot of the time the choices are false, in Wolf the decisions are fairly irrelevant to the central plot of the game. You can be as much of an asshole to the characters involved 'Toad will remember that' or as nice 'Snow appreciates your honesty' as you like but they will never refuse to speak...

Re: Wolf Among Us

They need to come out with a season 2 of this or I'm gonna have to start reading the comic books, what a fucking liberty, how dare they make me work to get content. I'll do it though, that's an honest to god threat internets, I WILL, I'll not just read the wiki and then pretend I have a different in...

Re: Man of Steel.

Mars doesn't have a large enough mass to sustain much of an atmosphere over time.

Although considering how fast it was altering the earth, maybe that shouldn't have been a problem.
